this post was actually meant for yesterday, but err..
didn't get round to posting it.
anyway, its mostly about the opening of IvP.
it was held at NyP ( poly )
and there were also those other secondary and primary schools that attended.
the only good the whole thing benefited me was
1) it taught me how to be more direct in the taking of my food
it was during the break time,
there were those chocolate and kiwi things.
it was okay, quite yummy.
sorry for vagueness
but i don't know what its called and can't be bothered
and i am not an expert on food and can't describe what it really taste like.
*digress*
and even if you are, it wouldn't be wise to bullshit so much.
because
1) the reader/listener wouldn't understand you though they will pretend that they do. ( happens to me all the time if/when i watch tv food shows )
2) what you say could usually be summed up in much fewer words.
back to the point. instead of queuing,
i didn't waste time and went straight to the front to take what i felt like.
its not as rude as it sounds..
most sec school students did it.
though maybe its after seeing me do so instead of the reason being the long queue of little pri sch kids.
the kids are damn noisy also, you know?
2) the more important point- youthful innocence
in a way, the noise is a good thing.
it shows how they are innocent and not think so deep into things.
for e.g. the speaker which used the Wii to present.
sometimes, he asked rhetorical questions.
and the many groups of many pri sch students would burst into laughter and answer him.
and for pictures, like a front view of the face of a person swimming butterfly,
they will laugh endlessly.
i think its because the person's mouth was formed in an "o" shape
and they thought he was making faces
hence, the crazy laughter.
about the Wii speaker,
I would also like to comment on the girl who volunteered for being such a good sport.
she had to give her particulars and do balance test and things like that.
she's 11 only.
but due to little accidents here and there, the results indicated she's 42.
everybody was laughing then.
this time I think its more of the sec students.
there was also this random acs primary boy that I picked a conversation with.
me: " how old are you? "
him: " primary five. "
m: " wow, do you know my age? "
h: " primary six? "
m: " no.. " *pause*
m: " I'm sec one. "
h: " WOAH. " *in TRUE DRAMATIC FASHION with no MOCK EXAGGERATION intended by him*
i went away and told a few others about it. till,
someone that I told: but you are sec2?
m: oh. yeah. crap.
so, i turned behind and told the person i'm sec2 instead. i don't think he's the same guy though :\
its funny how people tend to complicate matters when they grow older eh?
my pack of cards got confiscated yesterday as well.
daniel, the prefect, confiscated it from me for playing in class.
but then i took it back from his bag when he wasn't around.
it was mine in the first place, puh-leese.
but then later in the auditorium,
mrs suhaimy confiscated it from me ):
i was trying to keep my cards properly,
then she suddenly turned and saw me.
grrr...
i tried sweet-talking to give it back to me but she wouldn't listen.
she said she wanted to check with Mr Yap if poker cards were allowed in school first.
it isn't by the way.
but Mr Yap approached her twice in the auditorium regarding MM and she mentioned nothing about it.
HA! i bet she wanted to keep it for her own.
since the design's so nice >.>
which is why i'm so angry at myself, for choosing to bring a nicer looking pack instead of the more common ( looking ) ones.
guess i better bring the uglier ones,
wouldn't like lightning to strike twice.
Beauty is Precious!
till next post-
